Where Did Inhale Yoga Go?
By and far, the most traffic I get to this blog comes from a review of Steve Ross’s Inhale Yoga I wrote back in 2007. Inhale Yoga was made about 10 years ago, but it is still very popular!
Inhale usually airs on the Oxygen television network but has been on hiatus. Ever since Inhale went off the air, people have been asking on this blog (and emailing me) wondering where they can get DVDs or begging for the show to come back on the air. (I have absolutely no say in that! I do not work for Oxygen!)
Here’s some info, best as I know for now:
1. There are no DVDs for Inhale Yoga. As far as I know, there are no plans to put Inhale Yoga on DVD.
2. Steve Ross may be working on his own yoga DVD, but I don’t know for a fact.
3. Inhale Yoga is sometimes taken off of Oxygen (for the summer) but rumor has it will return September 11 this year.
Now, there is one place you can maybe get Inhale Yoga, and that would be perhaps through BitTorrent. But that is not really legal. You have to decide for yourself whether you want to risk it. I am not endorsing this method of obtaining Inhale Yoga.
But one thing is for sure, I cannot get you Inhale Yoga DVDs, I can’t force Oxygen to put it back on the air, and no, I don’t know anything about the soundtrack. If you have questions about Inhale Yoga, please go bug Steve Ross over at his website.
Can you recommend other yoga classes on TV?
I was just getting ready to start my yoga session and thought about how I missed Steve Ross on Oxygen. Thanks for the heads up … I do hope he is back on September 11th. Perfect class for me. Right now I am using P90X yoga c d. Thank you for the info.
1. Ross has stated that creating a DVD involves too much structure. The message on his guest book has been there for at least 3 years.
2. Oxygen has a voice message from last year on their answering machine that states Inhale will come back December 11th — not very likely as the 11th is a Saturday.

I, too, miss my upbeat yoga. I am very disappointed to hear that it is not likley we will see a DVD. I do wish Oxygen would reconsider. Perhaps Oprah could offer a spot on OWN? Or, maybe FIT-TV could free up a spot? I can not imagine why other outlets have not offered a spot for this show. Do they not realize that for every one of us who actually says something, there are thousands who feel the same way, but simply lack the time or inclination to publicly respond? I digress, and I sure miss my favorite yoga guru.
I am wondering the same thing. I have seen the network take the show off temporarily before but it always came back. It’s the best yoga workout that I have found and I hate the fact that I cannot get a DVD anywhere. Please bring it back.

How dumb are you people posting on this website asking for inhale to come back to oxygen. Did you even read the article? This blog isn’t the network OXYGEN. Go read a book then try yoga.
I use and enjoy Inhale too, and as others have stated, my body responds better than with other approaches. When they removed the show a few months back, I emailed Oxygen; they responded almost immediately saying that there were music licensing issues. Maybe that’s an excuse, but maybe it has to do with changes in the past couple of years in digital media copyrights and such. I don’t know, but I was impressed that they responded within a few hours. Still – no Inhale yet. I have 3 episodes on my DVR, but it’s not the same . . . wish I’d kept them all!
